Thanks for the data point. I think 91% is quite good for exclusively wireless charging over a 2 year period. I always charge with the iPad 12w charger and I have tried to keep my XS from going
The display says 84%. But the battery will go from 100% charged to 70% charged in a few moments use. Maybe 15 or 20 minutes. And it can recharge back up to 100% in a fairly short time as well. When it was new, it took upward of 3 hours to recharge from about 10% to 100%. I think that possibly the Battery Health is deliberately stuck at 84%
iPhone Battery Health After 1 Year. Apple’s pretty hush-hush on year-over-year battery degradation, but most users and experts report a 5-10% yearly drop. That’s why most iPhone users report a battery health of around 90-95% after one year of use. However, if you use your phone pretty sparingly (minimal notifications especially), it’s not
Sounds like a good thing to me? 500 cycles is the minimum that Apple have designed your battery to last before it gets below 80% but it may well go to many more cycles. If the phone is otherwise OK just keep enjoying it til it gets below 80% then consider the $49 replacement service.
75% Battery Health Trade In. Hello All, When I go to buy a new iPhone it offers me the option to trade in my iPhone X for money off, however my phones battery status is currently 75% and says 'service'. But none of the questions it asks you asks you if the battery holds a charge (like most trade in places do) so I press Yes and it offers me £150.
My phones battery health is at 83% and I’m using it since 2020 fall. I’m considering buying a new phone and right now I’m very inclined towards iPhone 13 mini. The only problem is it’s smaller battery. My avg sot is about 8 hours per day. Idk if that’s considered high, but it’s what it is.
Apple changed what that message says on the iPhone 11. Everyone’s 11 says it. The message will presumably change when the battery actually becomes degraded. Maybe your phone is laggy not because of your battery, but something else? I would replace it anyway. 85% is usually a good spot to get a new one.
Also, if your iPhone’s battery is at 86% it only means you’re a heavy user of the phone. Manufacturer’s only give estimates of “normal” usage which means that a person lightly uses the product. Your battery health percentage is normal. Pretty normal % for a year old model. You’ll be ok, 93% battery health is pretty good after a year
